Who am I?

I'm Julien Lauzes,

UX/UI designer for over ten years. I've always needed to manipulate, to explore things concretely to understand how they work: to take things apart, tinker, test and observe.

This playful, intuitive approach has shaped my vision of the world and of design: a way of linking ideas to materials, concepts to use.

My background is in graphic design, and I grew up using my father's tools as a mechanic, repairing bicycles, listening to music on a daily basis and taking photographs to capture the moment.

My operation is atypical - ADHD, DYS - he taught me to think differently, to design with empathy, and to value what's outside the box. I like things that are alive, things that are built by others, things that make sense. And that's what I try to convey in every project.

👉 To better understand my cognitive functioning and neuroatypia, I invite you to read this article which I wrote with an open heart.
